California Asthma Partners is pleased to present the second of a series of webinars focused on the Strategic Plan for Asthma in California. In this second presentation, we will focus on triggers found in urban environments that affect asthma management and highlight an example of a Land Use Guidance Document used by cities and counties in the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD), when planning neighborhoods or issuing permits for construction of commercial, industrial or transportation sources that have potential toxic emissions. 

Our presenters will be Michael A. LeNoir, MD, FAAP, FAAAI, Pediatrician, Asthma and Allergy Specialist, and Dr. Jean Ospital, Health Effects Officer for the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD).
