The California Asthma Partners website is designed to help organizations and individuals throughout the state address asthma, a major public health problem, in a coordinated manner. At the center of the website is the Strategic Plan for Asthma in California. Users can easily navigate the Plan by its five goal areas and learn more about recommended strategies within each section.
The website is also a great networking and idea sharing platform. Organizations, even those taking on one or two activities that address asthma, are encouraged to join the site and share what they are doing to implement the Plan. You can then search the database of enrolled programs to identify other organizations addressing similar goals, foster collaboration, share resources, or get new ideas.
To join the site, simply register on the home page and once you confirm your registration, you can add your organizations profile by selecting “About CAP” from the main menu and “Find a Partner.” You’ll then have the option to search the program database or create your profile by selecting the“Add an Entry” box on the right side of the page. Be sure to complete the information in the top two boxes of the form (note that there are multiple tabs in each box).
If you have any problems completing a profile, please feel free to contact Deanna Rossi (
