The next webinar in CAP’s Strategic Plan webinar series will focus on Goal 4 of the Strategic Plan for Asthma in California: Indoor Environments.  Specifically, the webinar will explore child care environments (Goal 4.B) and how to keep them free of common asthma triggers, including harmful cleaning products.  Justine Weinberg and Debbie Shrem from the California Department of Public Health’s Occupational Health Branch will explain how to reduce exposure to cleaning products that cause or exacerbate asthma and Barbara Spark from the US Environmental Protection Agency will talk about the reduction of other common triggers.

The webinar will be held October 27, 2010 from 1-2 pm (PST).  Asthma advocates and child care administrators, providers, and facility managers are encouraged to attend.  Check back soon for registration information.
