California Breathing is program of the California Department of Public Health, who, like CAP is working to implement strategies outlined in the California Department of Public Health. The Burden of Asthma In California: A Surveillance Report
This is the first comprehensive statewide report of asthma data and outcomes. It identifies the groups and communities most impacted by the disease and how asthma relates to some common risk factors.
County Asthma Profiles
The County Asthma Profile is a county-specific asthma data resource for each of the 58 counties in California. They were created to show how asthma impacts each county and to support local level program planning and interventions.
Starlight Starbright Asthma Tool Kit for Schools
This comprehensive kit contains specific information about asthma as it relates to the different types of school personnel. Nurses and other asthma champions are encouraged to share these resources with the schools they work with.
Asthma Education for Child Care and Preschool Staff
This is a comprehensive, multimedia training course and resource guide developed for people who work with children who have asthma in preschools, childcare centers, and family childcare homes.
